Our journey as a military family has led us to the emerald coast! Pensacola is where we call home for now until the next adventure is sent down for us. My images will now be filled with sandy beaches and sparkling waters instead of the corn fields and golden grasses of illinois.  Each move is bitter sweet and I am excited to see who all I meet along the way.

Where Are we now

I am so glad you are here to learn a little more about me. I am a mother of three (one girl, two boys) and a military spouse. Plus I have a beautiful wondering  artistic mind that keeps life magical. This business started when my precious husband bought me my first camera. We wanted to capture all the little moments while stationed in Germany. I had no idea how to use it but I became obsessed with the art of figuring it out and making stills come to life. The colors, the moments, and the tiny details spoke to me and made me realize  I was in it for the long haul. Four Months later, the business took off! I learned early on that what truly makes an image beautiful is when I get to know who I am photographing. When your story remains in my mind while I shoot then your images will reflect you. This makes no one image the same. Our stories are what make us exceptional and unique.

Hi I'm Kela,

My family moves all over the place so everywhere we go I have to restart my business in a whole new area with all new people. That is hard, and I've had many people ask me what keeps me going.
But the truth is this...
What I do brings me joy and it's a passion of mine that will carry on long after I am no longer here on this earth. Meeting people like you is what drives me to keep pushing and growing emotionally and in business. Each story I tell is also a  piece of my puzzle. It teaches me, guides me and shows me what direction I should take next.

There is nothing more beautiful to me than taking others by the hand and showing them the ropes. How would we all make it if we didn't  have a myriad  of people cheering us on! Community is what makes what we do such a beautiful thing. Even if we take the same exact image we will still not edit it the same way. That's why it's art.

When I first started my business I spent countless hours on youtube and deep dives on the internet trying to figure out all there is to know about photography. Then, I would seek out other photographers who would be shy about sharing their secrets. There was a small group of beautiful ladies in Germany who truly just opened their arms to me and helped me get my feet of the ground!
